Extra Curricular Activities
Band

Maple Avenue offers many extracurricular activities, one of which is band. We have two large ensembles: 6th grade band and the 7th & 8th grade band, known as the “Gold Band”. The bands meet every other day during school hours. Each student is also assigned to one group lesson per 6 day cycle. These lessons are “pull outs” requiring students to miss some instructional time to attend. After school time is made available for students who are unable to attend sectionals.
