Maple Avenue Middle School, the oldest building in Littlestown Area School District,  opened its doors for the class of 1933 as the Maple Avenue Junior-Senior High School.  The architect of the building was Bernard Starr, Littlestown Class of 1911.  Maple Avenue currently serves students in grades 6-8 with a population of approximately 450 students.  Maple Avenue Middle School (also known as MAMS) has undergone numerous renovations over the years to accommodate district growth and reorganization.

Maple Avenue boasts a rigorous catalog of courses for its students and balances that with extracurricular activities and a powerful sense of community.  It's often that Maple Avenue hosts an event that is packed by community members, parents and students.  Maple Avenue Middle School prides itself on academics, community and the dedication of its faculty and staff towards turning students into learners.
